On Friday 29th of April, and with the presence of the Argentine Ambassador in China, Diego Ramiro Guelar , was held the Malbec World Day, Beijing Chapter, at the premises of the Argentine Embassy in the Sanlitun district of the Chinese capital.

 

The event, organized by the Diplomatic representation together with Wines of Argentina, was part of the 70 celebrations held in more than 50 countries -including Shanghai, Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Fuzhou, among others - to commemorate the origins of Malbec in Argentina.

 

In this edition, the event gathered 500 guests and hundreds of journalists from different media. Attendees had the opportunity to taste our famous strain from 20 wineries, through their representatives and importers. Also, a Tango show was performed.

Addressing to the public, Ambassador Diego Guelar stated: "We are very proud of our wines, and we welcome the development of the wine culture in the People's Republic of China. I have no doubt about the great opportunities awaiting our countries ".
